Persons 60 or over can obtain an annual flu shot free of charge.
Free flu vaccination is also available to people with asthma, diabetes, severe chronic anemia, cancer, chronic heart/lung/kidney disease, cystic fibrosis or any other chronic disease. Family members living with someone who has a chronic disease also qualify.
Vaccinations usually begin in November.
