If you require an ocular prosthesis (artificial eye) and are insured under Québec’s health insurance plan, you may be eligible for the Ocular Prostheses Program.
Eligible individuals are entitled, for each eye, to reimbursement of the cost of purchasing or replacing an ocular prosthesis once every five years, and to a yearly allowance for the repair and maintenance of the prosthesis.
