As a grandparent, your right to a personal relationship with your grandchildren is recognized by law. This type of relationship includes activities such as visits, outings, telephone conversations, etc. The parents of your grandchildren cannot prevent you from having contact with your grandchildren unless they have serious grounds for doing so.
If you are unable to reach an agreement with the parents, the court will negotiate the terms of an agreement in accordance with the Civil Code of Québec.
