The Québec sales tax (QST) credit is paid to individuals and families whose income is below a certain threshold stipulated in the Taxation Act. The credit is calculated on a yearly basis according to the information provided on your income tax return.
To claim the QST credit, you must meet the eligibility requirements, which are set out in the Guide to the Income Tax Return published by Revenu Québec each year.
