If you have undergone a total or radical mastectomy (complete removal of the breast, as well as glands or muscle) following trauma or illness, you may be eligible for the External Breastforms Program. You must be insured under the Québec health insurance plan.
If you meet the program’s eligibility requirements, you will be entitled, for each breast, to an initial sum of $200 to cover all or a part of the cost of purchasing an external breastform.
