If you are unable to look after yourself and yours affairs, but do not have an incapacity mandate, you can still be protected under one of three systems of protective supervision provided by the Curateur public du Québec.
Three systems:
curatorship to persons of full age
tutorship to persons of full age
advisorship to persons of full age
Only the courts can authorize the opening of protective supervision and determine the type required.
