Depending on your health and level of autonomy, you may be placed in a residential and long-term care centre (CHSLD) or in a foster home such as an intermediate or family resource.
Application for admission
If you are still living in your own home, you must contact your local CLSC. A family member or friend can do this for you.
Applications for seniors living in a hospital centre are handled by the institution.
