If your deceased spouse contributed to the Québec Pension Plan for a sufficient number of years (between 3 and 10), you may be entitled to the surviving spouse's pension.
TO OBTAIN THE PENSION
Apply to the Régie online or by mail.
Internet: Use the online service.
Mail: Download and complete the Application for Survivors' Benefits onscreen, print it out and mail it to the Régie des rentes. Copies of the form are also available from Services Québec and certain financial institutions.
